  • Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a branch of Citizen Corps and offers medical and non-medical professionals volunteer opportunities that build community education and response. Each county in Southeastern PA has an MRC branch and is actively recruiting members. MRC volunteers can devote as much or as little time to this effort as will work for their schedules. As volunteers they will have access to cutting edge training and exercises that help to build an educated and prepared region. MRC volunteers are seen, not as first responders, but as valuable resources in the national Incident Command System. MRC volunteers are nurses, physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, social workers, physician assistants, medics, psychiatrists and psychologists, etc. If you are interested in learning more about this important initiative please contact the Southeastern PA Regional MRC Coordinator at or 484-557-2440.

  • Practicing Clinicians Exchange is an innovative multisupported, multichannel educational initiative created specifically for nurse practitioners and physician assistants.  Our program provides free live, home study, and internet based educational opportunities designed to meet the real world clinical needs of NPs and PAs.
